Testing Procedures

It is your responsibility to follow the procedures found below. Failure to do so may jeopordize your privilege of using our exam proctoring service.

First of all, you must pick up and bring back the Faculty Accommodation Letter with instructor signatures to be eligible for accommodations. This is a wonderful opportunity to open the line of communication with your instructors and educate them of your needs.

Secondly, you must notify our office AT LEAST 3 working days before you have an exam scheduled. At the time you schedule the exam, you should have already made arrangements with your instructor and inform us of how the exam will be arriving.

Thirdly, you must show up at the scheduled time to the Assistive Technology Lab (Student Services Room 265) for the exam. If there will be a class conflict with your exam time, then notify our office and your instructor so that we can re-schedule an alternative time. Students who do not arrive at the scheduled exam time will be required to contact their professor to get authorization.

During finals week you can schedule your exam times for either 8:00am or 12:30pm. All exams must be finished by 5:00pm and any scheduling conflicts with instructors should be brought to our attention. Any student authorized for double time must start at 8:00am if they feel they will need the entire allotted time.

Lastly, we are very fortunate to have a testing facility to call our own. It is important that we maintain it and keep it clean and presentable for others to use. Please take pride in keeping it clean and having respect for all of those who also use the facility now, and for years to come.
