Some Tips:

Talk to your instructors to get a realistic view of how you are doing in your course prior to mid-terms and finals.

Withdrawal From School

Any student who wishes to withdraw from school (go to zero hours) must do so using the WEB Student Access System. Please Note: all holds must be cleared to access your account.

To withdraw from school, log in to Registration and select "Withdrawal From School" next to each one of your courses. Click the SUBMIT button. The Registrar's Office will complete the withdrawal procedure and change your status to "WD - Withdrawal - Student Initiated".

Please remember that it is Georgia Tech Policy that if you withdraw from school you are required to sit out for one semester then return. With the exception of part-time graduate students, students who withdraw from school must submit a "Petition to the Faculty" to return to school the next term,

The amount of your refund will be based upon the date you changed the status of your courses to "Withdrawal From School". See "Bursar's Office Policies and Procedures" in the OSCAR or view information at http://www.bursar.gatech.edu/ refund policy.
